Chocolate truffles make a great edible gift for a hostess, potluck or a nice addition to a dessert table. Easy to make, you can make it ahead and store it in the fridge for a couple of weeks. Although, I never had any leftovers after a few days!

Don't you love that when a recipe does not have fancy utensil needs - that you don't have and don't want to buy for one recipe.

Homemade Chocolate Truffles
- 1 cup dark chocolate, packed 200g
- 1 cup heavy cream
- A little less than ½ cup butter 100g
- 1 cup bitter chocolate powder
- In a pot, bring the cream to a boil.
- Add the chocolate and then the butter. Stir until melted.
- Allow to cool in the fridge until harden. (1 hour)
- Using a teaspoon, scoop some chocolate and with your hands, roll it into a small ball.
- Roll it in the bitter chocolate.
- Repeat until done! Don't eat them as you go!
