Easy Flan de Coco

This simple Flan de Coco is an easy dessert to prepare all year round with pantry ingredients!  The caramel sauce on top complements perfectly this Latino custard.

Ingredients from your pantry: - Condensed milk - Coconut milk - Shredded coconut - Eggs - Sugar + water for the caramel

Preparation of the caramel:  1. In a pot, pour the sugar & water and bring it to a boil over medium heat.  2. It will take 7-8 minutes to become a golden caramel.

Preparation of the flan: 3. In a bowl, beat the eggs until you obtain a uniform yellow tone

Preparation of the flan: 4. Add in the coconut milk, condensed milk, and the shredded coconut and mix some more.

Preparation of the flan: 5. Pour it into oven dish, on top of the caramel.  6. Place your dish on a baking sheet & pour water into the baking sheet to create a water bath.

Preparation of the flan: 7. Bake for 50 minutes at 400F.
