These irresistible herbs and cheese biscuits are easy and quick to prepare. Also called drop biscuits, this recipe makes delicious light and cheesy side bread you can eat with brunch or dinner and even be added to the kids’ lunch box.

Ingredients

  • 1 and ½ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • â…” cup butter
  • â…” cup grated cheddar cheese
  • ¾ cup milk

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450 F.
  • In a big bowl, pour all the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, garlic salt and oregano.
  • Then, melt the butter and add it to the bowl. Mix well.
  • Add in the milk and mix again.
  • Lastly, pour in the cheese of your choice and mix.
  • On a baking sheet, covered with parchment paper, drop a tablespoon of batter.
  • Bake for 12 minutes. Enjoy!
