📖 Mini Strawberry and Apple Almond Flour Crumble

Make this classic strawberry and apple crumble as soon as possible! A layer of tender and sweet fruits covered with a buttery crust made with almond flour (no oats) makes an irresistible and easy dessert.

Ingredients

  • 3 Gala apples Big
  • 1 pound strawberries
  • ¼ butter, cold 60g
  • ¾ cup ground almond 75g
  • â…“ cup sugar 65g
  • ¾ cup flour 75g
  • 2 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven at 400F.
  • Peel the apples and cut them into cubes. Place equally in the ramequins. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, put the butter and the almond powder, mix it together - i do it with my hands or pastry blender.
  • Add the sugar, mix again. And finally, add the flour, mix again, it should be crumble.
  • Lastly, add the vanilla extract.
  • On top of the apples and strawberries, add a handful of the crumble preparation: squeeze it in your hand and drop it on top of the fruit. It will have some chunks and some smaller crumbles.
  • Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or when the crumbles appears golden.
  • Allow to cool down and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store in the fridge for up to 4 days
  • Use COLD butter to prepare the crumble topping
