Red Currant Jam

Winning combo for your effortless 2-ingredient red currant jam! Sugar and this sour fruits make the perfect spread with these sour fruits!

Ingredients

  • 500 g red currants
  • 250 g granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Remove any leaf or mini branches from the red currants, wash them well.
  • Pour the red currants in a pot, add in the sugar.
  • Mix the sugar so all the fruits are coated.
  • Cook on low heat and stir often for about an hour. You will know it is cooked when you take some with a wooden spoon and it is dripping down. Drop by drop. It should NOT do a continuing drip.
  • Allow to cool down a little and pour it in glass container. Keep refrigerated.
