Red Currant Jam
Ingredients
- 500 g red currants
- 250 g granulated sugar
Instructions
- Remove any leaf or mini branches from the red currants, wash them well.
- Pour the red currants in a pot, add in the sugar.
- Mix the sugar so all the fruits are coated.
- Cook on low heat and stir often for about an hour. You will know it is cooked when you take some with a wooden spoon and it is dripping down. Drop by drop. It should NOT do a continuing drip.
- Allow to cool down a little and pour it in glass container. Keep refrigerated.
